- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Premier Blinds advertise themselves as a family run business for over 20 years. We purchased an awning for over £4000 (price of a small car) just over three years ago. We used this company as they are local and we thought well established. One of the arms on the patio awning literally sprung off and the whole shade (4 x7 meters) came crashing down like a ton of bricks, it literally could have killed someone. We have been informed by the new manageress that we do not have a manufacturers guarantee as PREMIER BLINDS went into liquidation and she bought the company so the guarantee is not being honoured and basically we need to pay for the repair which is over £2,000. Please be warned that who knows how many times this liquidation has happened in the past to leave customers like us helpless but to claim on OUR insurance and will happen again in the future! The after care from this company is atrocious… not even an apology from them.
